Navalperal de Tormes is a village of 138 inhabitants, with an area of 61 ha., To 1303 m. altitude. It's located in a nava where formerly there were many pear trees, hence the name.
The flora is composed of oaks, pines, broom, blackberries, sloes, servals and herbs. Among the fauna include vultures, partridges, foxes, wild boars, genets, otters and especially the Capra Hispanica.
The basic economy of the people is based on the vaccine, sheep and horse breeding, and horticulture for own consumption.
Celebrates its patron saint on July 25 (Santiago Apostol) and August 5 (Nuestra Señora de las Nieves) in Annex Ortigosa de Tormes.
